31st Street Studios is Seeking Summer Interns

by Lucy Leitner

The 31st Street Studios, the (to quote the incomparable Ilya Bryzgalov) “humangous big” facility in the Strip District that is on the forefront of the Hollywood East movement, needs interns.

That, college students, is highly cool.

For those who have become too distracted shuddering at the photo of the Pitt bomb threat suspects, the 31st Street Studios has partnered with Carnegie Mellon’s Entertainment Technology Center and Knight Vision Studios, the company responsible for the computer-generated animation in Avatar. 31st Street also has a long-term arrangement with Paramount Studio Group’s Paramount On Location that offers production support services. Prior to announcing these agreements in late February, the Strip District studio had already had a hand in such monster productions as Unstoppable, The Next Three Days, and The Dark Knight Rises.
